Clacton Parkrun Review

clacton parkrun

If you haven’t heard of it Parkrun is a free 5k run with numerous locations across the UK, with Clacton being one of the newest Locations. Clacton Parkrun started on the 15th October 2016 and has been a huge success from the first event.

A couple of great things about this is

  1. It’s free of charge.
  2. It’s a timed event.
  3. It’s not a race.

All abilities take part in Parkrun which creates such a great atmosphere for everyone taking part.

Some members from Clacton Bootcamps have started running every Saturday, with more members coming along each week.

One of our members who “can’t” run, ran this week in 39 minutes, being totally amazed with their results, this has given them a new strength and goal to work towards to be able to run it in under 30 minutes.

Clacton Parkrun is held along the seafront every Saturday morning, and is a great way to start the weekend.

The run starts at 9am, and is a 3-lap course. You Start off, by running along the top promenade running towards the pier, you then run down a slope towards the beachfront stretch before you turn around and repeat for 2 more laps. It truly is beautiful running by the sea.

If you want to join us on this run look out for me in my Clacton Bootcamp T-Shirt or contact me on 07540 410 747.

I will run and stay with whoever needs it encouraging you all the way!

Incorporating a run every week with bootcamp for strength, fitness and conditioning will give you that extra push which will achieve improved health and fitness over time but more importantly instant mental strength and belief which will lead to fantastic results.

So, whether you are a non-runner, a runner, or simply want to try something new why not give Clacton bootcamps a go with a 7-day free trial and join us every Saturday morning for Parkrun. Let’s find your goal.
